Summary/Abstract: Djaïli Amadou Amal is known for her commitment against gender discrimination inherent to the existential experience of women in her Fulani community in Cameroon. She is a contemporary Amazon who campaigns for the tears of patience to stop flowing in a context where what takes the place of democracy is perpetual misogyny. In her writings, she subverts structures and forms by juxtaposing different linguistic systems and subsystems. The use of linguistic conflicts is not a practice which obliges one to say and allows one to say oneself and/with the other. In this study, the aim is to show how thes woman who has become a rebel, faced with sexual inequalities, uses a language extremely colored by identity markers. The democratization of speech perceptible in the author’s linguistic practice is the expression of an egalitarian quest in a context where African women are heavily trampled. Discourse Analysis is favorable for the collection and exploitation of borrowed words from fulfuldé, calques and linguistic interferences. Code switching becomes a rewarding textual strategy for scholarly women who are determining links for sustainable development in overly macho African societies and institutions. The woman, in the midst of an ontological metamorphosis, equips herself, under the prism of Djaïli, with the means to curb a system of thought that remains fixed, in a dynamic world. The conflict of linguistic codes is among the motivational schemes thus making it possible to bring up to date, the petition Que les hommes et les femmes soient belles for a harmonious cohabitation.
