Summary/Abstract: In the COVID-19 pandemic, many mothers and fathers began for the first time with a life that is at risk for their children, due to the widespread lockdown. In 2023, changes were introduced to the Labor Code regarding remote work in the post-pandemic reality. The aim of the article is to analyze the risks and hazards of remote activities for parents of children from the perspective of women – mothers. Studies have been conducted that have shown that remote work for parents of children has benefits for them, including: saving time and money, easier reconciliation of work and family responsibilities, and better work efficiency. But it also brings with it many difficulties, such as disturbing children at work, lack of air space for working at home, working “after hours”, difficult communication with co-workers, a sense of alienation and, finally, lack of activity associated with a sense of monotony. Optimum solution for parents of small children (especially mothers) may occur when the children are away from home at the time.
