Summary/Abstract: The changes that have taken place in the field of distance learning as a re-sult of its widespread use during the Covid-19 pandemic are constantly an important area of pedagogical exploration. Despite the return of students to schools and universities, there are still questions to what extent and how we are able to use this critical experience as a basis for introducing changes in education. From this point of view, it is important to discover new perspectives for analyzing the emergency remote ed-ucation phenomenon and the related experiences of various groups of participants. The article attempts to look at the attitudes of Polish and Lithuanian students towards this education and the correlation of these attitudes with noticing the symptoms of changes in their own mental habits, which are the essence of transformative learning. The research results show that Lithuanian students more often adopt positive atti-tudes towards emergency remote education and notice more changes in the area of their own learning than Polish students.
