Summary/Abstract: The openness of the economy affects the liquidity and solvency of Serbia. Likewise, the degree ofexposure to financial risks. Serbia's best external position was in 2009. The following are: 2011, 2007,2010, 2012, 2013, 2006, 2008, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2018, 2021, 2005, and 2020. The worstexternal position of Serbia was in 2020. By increasing the open economy, the external position of Serbiacan be significantly improved
