Summary/Abstract: The publication is intended as a text of a dual nature, on the one hand the Author refers to the current legislation on patients’ rights, also citing reports of the Supreme Audit Office, as well as medical law literature, and on the other hand, by describing the initiatives of the Patient Ombudsman carried out within the framework of statutory tasks, the Author spreads knowledge about the sources of information available to patients and their relatives in Poland. Particularly described is the Patient Navigator.
