Summary/Abstract: The Circle of Friends of the Czech Language held various events during the academic year 2023-2024, featuring lectures on diverse linguistic topics. Highlights included Tomáš Mikulka's presentation on newly identified Old Church Slavonic homilies, Jaromír Slomek's virtual tour of Prague related to Karel Havlíček and Božena Němcová, and Aleš Klégr's introduction to the Lexical-Semantic Database of Czech.
