Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to explore cross-cultural communication through the lens of translingual writers. In order to do so, we will present a short overview of the key theories concerning cross-cultural communication. Next, we will add some testimonies of the translingual writers into the equation by describing their personal perspectives related to writing in a foreign language. Adopting the translingual writers’ point of view while reflecting on the concept of cross-cultural communication is of crucial importance as it might shed some light on the complex interplay of the different factors that pertain to successful communication in different cultural contexts.
