Summary/Abstract: Gambling addiction, also known as „problem” or „compulsive gambling”, is a condition in which a person feels compelled to gamble despite being aware of the negative consequences of doing so and wanting to stop. This is one of the main and current problems of the present day, with immeasurable negatives for the social well-being of society in the foreseeable future. At the same time, timely and/or adequate measures are not taken to cut off and neutralize the harmful consequences of gambling addiction and mainly preventive ones, namely - to provide professional help to those addicted to this condition
