Issues of the national and regional identity on lessons of Polish – dilemmas and perspectives

Summary/Abstract: In the article, I presented purposes and methods of training the national and regionalidentity in teaching Polish. I am basing my theoretical deliberations on the interdisciplinaryapproach, referring to the opinion of educationalists of Polish language and history and tothe publications in the field of anthropology and sociology. In my opinion, at the work ofa specialist in Polish studies a method of the project is deserving the particular attention. Itcombines and consolidates in a conscious way the knowledge of Polish, history and civics.The urban game, allowing for the forming of the local identity and the learning of the cultureof remembering is an equally interesting educational solution.
