RESOURCES ON FAMILY FARMS IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses family farms in the Republic of Serbia, with a special focus on agricultural land and labour force, as one of the most important resources. The current state of resources on agricultural farms and the way of these resources are distributed in relation to the geographical and regional division of the Republic of Serbia is presented. In addition to the geographical distribution of farms, the aim of the paper is to indicate their distribution by size, considering the size of available land per agricultural farm. In the framework of the research, secondary data from the publications of the Republic Institute of Statistics were used. Further research in this area can be directed towards the representation of the efficiency of using the available land and labour force, in terms of achieving business performance on the agricultural farm.
