Summary/Abstract: “The green berets” is John Wayne’s 1968 movie about the Vietnam War. The plot meets us with an American special force unit and its purposes in the war between communism and anticommunism. Film was released after the events in the Offensive Tet and it coincides with the protest waves in The US and Europe against the American international policy in Indochina. Despite that movie has an excellent performance in box office which suggests that there is a strong and influential pro-Vietnam fraction not only in the White House but also in the American society.
