The Covid crisis – the catharsis of our time

Summary/Abstract: The concept of theoretical approaches, causes, types, typology, crisis dynamics is studied. It is stated that crises bring both negative and positive charge and consequences, as well as the danger of regression and destruction of the system, as well as the possibility of transition of the system to a higher level of development. The specifics and comprehensiveness of the covid crisis in the modern world are revealed. The modern concepts for overcoming the crisis, for the salvation of humanity are analyzed. The two main possible concepts launched by Klaus Schwab and the global elite, on the one hand, and Russia and China, on the other, are outlined.
