Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes senior policy in Gdańsk. Initiatives and programs dedicated to seniors were characterized, and also the most important challenges for the future were identified from two perspectives. The first is the perspective from the point of view of the city's policy (based on the analysis of city programs and initiatives and the prism of an interview with the Plenipotentiary for Seniors of the Mayor of Gdańsk), the second is the perspective of the Seniors' Council in Gdańsk operating since 2018. When it comes to priorities, first off is to activate and engage elderly people in various initiatives, and the second one is the issue of the help and care for older people which is becoming more and more important.
