Importance of the ‘DEFENSE’ Technological Platform for Shaping Personal Security

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to identify the importance of the DEFENSE application for the personal security of the user of access devices based on the theory of non-chemical addictions. The research field is the behaviour of Internet users visiting websites, games and Internet and social applications (DNS and IP traffic) in relation to the time spent on the network and detecting threats based on the DEFENSE technological platform. This publication describes an innovative system that examines the degree of user dependence on the Internet with built-in automatic algorithms for recommending actions and preventing threats. The technological platform enables the actual identification of individual threats, giving the direction of addiction, thanks to which it is possible to take effective protective measures for personal security. The application monitors network traffic on all devices connected to your home wired or wireless network and sends these analyses to a platform that performs automatic classification
