Summary/Abstract: Purpose: This paper analyzes the EuropeanBank for Reconstruction and Development's (EBRD)strategic financing roles in Kosovo from 2013 to2020, focusing on economic impacts anddevelopmental progress. Methodology: Employing aquantitative and comparative approach, this studyutilizes secondary data analysis, supported bystatistical tools in Microsoft Excel, to evaluate theeffectiveness of EBRD investments in various sectorswithin Kosovo. Results: The findings revealsignificant EBRD investments, primarily in SMEs andinfrastructure, contributing to competitive gains andsustainable development. The study details thevolume of investments and their distribution acrossdifferent sectors, highlighting substantial impacts onemployment and green energy initiatives. TheoreticalContribution: This research enriches the literature oninternational financial institutions' roles in post-conflict economic development, providing a nuancedunderstanding of the EBRD's strategic priorities andoperational outcomes in transitional economies.Practical Implications: The study offers policymakersand development agencies insights into practicalstrategies for leveraging international finance foreconomic growth and sustainability.Recommendations are provided to enhance the focuson renewable energy and infrastructure, aligningwith global sustainable development goals.
