Summary/Abstract: The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) hasdamaged the global economy and businessecosystem. Also, quality education and skillsmismatch have become critical in today’s workingenvironment post-COVID-19. Furthermore, one ofthe 17 Global Goals comprising the 2030 Agenda forSustainable Development is quality education, yetAfrica pays less attention to this and its impact in theworkplace and organizations. This study, therefore,examined the effects of quality education on theinnovation orientation of selected consumer goodscompanies listed in Nigeria and their role inachieving SDGs in Nigeria, the most populous andlargest economy in Africa. Findings showed thatquality education had a significant effect oninnovation orientation. This study recommends thatmanagement and stakeholders consider the benefitsof quality education in innovation and innovationorientation and, therefore, channel resourcestoachieve and align with Sustainable Development Goal4.
