Summary/Abstract: The article tackles the issue of monastic enclosure as a factor playing an important role in the process of information flow, subsequently recorded in various types of documentation. The study covers archives created by the Discalced Carmelite Monastery of St. Saint Martin that existed in Kraków in the years 1612–1787.
