Summary/Abstract: This article, written as an example of representation in architecture, is a reading of the local architectural texture and functional practices of Baksı Museum. Settlement and community development are shaped by a number of local factors depending on the location. Being local is shaped by many unique parameters such as the formation process of a settlement, the forms and relations of production and the opportunities of geography. Baksı Museum is established with the combination of familiar elements based on the physical context in which it is located. The museum comes into existence with an approach that prioritises the relationship with the place at different levels rather than an object-structure understanding that prioritises only aesthetic qualities. In this study, it is aimed to open up for discussion the fact that Baksı Museum, which defines itself as extraordinary, is ordinary in parallel with its extraordinary being. The aim of the text, which is based on this duality, is to reveal the extraordinary nature of the building and its effort to become ordinary through the various relations it establishes with the place. This proud building in the countryside is worthy of discussion both in terms of its architectural product and the humble relationship(s) it establishes through social environmental practices. The data of the study, which was based on situation analysis, was obtained from printed and electronic sources in addition to observations in the field. In conclusion; The functionality of the museum remains hidden behind its original and pioneering existence, as does the program's effort to become ordinary with its structural and structural local content.
