Summary/Abstract: Worldwide, there are numerous definitions of physical distribution. The repeated attempts to define the physical distribution have been marked by the various managerial and systemic approaches. Distribution could be conceptually approached from a national or, if necessary,i from an international manner. International distribution is considered as an important component of international marketing activity, closely related to other elements, which influence it and which are conditioned by them. International distribution includes all activities and relations which are established between the partners on the different markets for making goods available to consumers or foreign users. Distribution is considered a fundamental component of the marketing process, providing the connection between manufacturer, distributor and consumer.
