Summary/Abstract: In this study, it was aimed to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to measure the IoT awareness perceptions of business employees. In the first stage of the three-stage scale development study, in-depth interviews were conducted. As a result of content analysis, a proposition pool of 87 items was created. In the second stage, an item draft was created and the scale was structured by consulting expert opinions in order to ensure meaning, face and content validity. In the last stage, the scale was evaluated and a draft scale with 15 items was created. As a result of the pilot application made to 150 employees in the energy sector using the draft scale, no items were removed from the scale. Using the final scale, an application was made in the health and aviation sector, and confirmatory and exploratory factor analysis was applied to the obtained data with IBM, SPSS 21 and AMOS 21 programs. As a result of the analyses, a total of 15 items, consisting of a 7-item activity dimension and an 8-item benefit dimension, emerged. The CFA provider determined that the scale had an acceptable level of fit. As a result of Cronbach Alpha values, the Activity dimension was calculated as 0.856 and the Benefit dimension was calculated as 0.833, and the scale was found to be valid and reliable. It is thought that the developed scale will be an important tool that can be used in all sectors to measure employees' perceptions of IoT awareness.
