Report from the event - Samizdat's work by Ján Chrysostom Korec

Summary/Abstract: On 20.1. – 29.2. In 2024, the premises of the Faculty of Theology in Košice hosted an exhibition entitled The Samizdat Work of Ján Chrysostom Korec, which was organized by the Samizdat Library as part of the Museum of Victims of Communism in cooperation with the Theological Faculty of the Catholic University in Košice, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Cardinal Ján Chrysostom Korec. The exhibition was accompanied by a professional conference, at which individual contributions presented the life of the cardinal during totality and after 1989 and his samizdat work, which is considered the largest samizdat work in Slovakia.
