Summary/Abstract: It is important to know that every form of identity is subject, all the time, or episodically, to a review that is orchestrated by the political power. Politics and identity control always went hand in hand, and it usually manifest itself in a few particular ways: a) trust and desirability are the main two characteristics that will be attributed to an identity, they are pivotal for the survival and social well-being of those that possess a certain identity, if one’s identity is not desirable it will not be trusted, through a lack we can motivate policies that can inflict violence and segregation, b) access to power and participation in political life, if one identity is not trusted, that will be that basis upon which resources will be greatly restricted, or denies all together, c) settings the principles upon which identities are considered to be “authentic” or “fake”, this becomes an integral part validating or denying one’s humanity.
