Summary/Abstract: Purpose – In bibliometric analysis studies, data obtained from databases containing scientific studies related to the identified research topic analyzed for the fundamental characteristics of the academic works using a software program. Thus, based on the general bibliometric information obtained, the conceptual structure of the dynamic capabilities literature clarified in more detail. Therefore, this research is important in presenting comprehensive findings. Thus, based on the general bibliometric information obtained, the conceptual structure of the dynamic capabilities literature has been further elucidated in a more detailed manner. The aim of this study is to explain how the studies on the dynamic capabilities approach, which has developed conceptually after the 1990s and is a frequent subject of study in both marketing and management literature today, examining the situations of businesses under variable and uncertain environmental conditions, have evolved and developed scientifically periodically and structurally. Especially to analyze what kind of place it occupies in the field of social sciences. Design/Methodology/Approach – In this regard, the data obtained from the studies indexed in the Web of Science database on the subject were analyzed through the Vosviewer software program. Results – It has been observed that dynamic capabilities studies gained momentum in the fourth period, international indexed publications were made with more management-based studies, and concepts such as competitive advantage, organizational change, information management, innovation and strategy were studied together. Discussion – According to the research findings, it has been observed that the studies in the analyzed dataset predominantly belong to the field of management sciences. The study further examines the position of dynamic capabilities within similar disciplines such as marketing and highlights its limited representation in indexed publications. Emphasizing the interdisciplinary impacts of dynamic capabilities, the research underscores the necessity of exploring these capabilities through multidisciplinary approaches.
