Summary/Abstract: The increase in international investments, the removal of commercial borders with technological developments such as e-commerce have made the conditions of competition even more difficult, and have made it necessary for all businesses to struggle to gain a place in the world market and increase this share. Of course, the desire for more profit has led organizations to seek effective and efficient use of time. In this context, increasing employee motivation and reducing negative behaviors at work have become more on the agenda for organizations that expect more performance from their employees. One of these negative behaviors is cyberloafing. In particular, although the increased use of the internet in business life today has provided many benefits such as effective use of time, it has also led to negative results in terms of usage method and time spent on the internet. Another concept, boredom at work, is also seen as one of the psychological phenomena that negatively affects employees. The concept of boredom, which is determined as employees experiencing a psychological state such as internal boredom, is stated to occur especially when the tasks they do become routine, work and functions become automated, or tasks are given that are far beyond the employee's skills. Since the issue of boredom is a new concept, it is thought that it has not been fully revealed how it affects other negative organizational behavior variables. In this context, although both concepts are examined with different variables in the literature, it is possible to say that there are no studies investigating the relationship between boredom at work and cyberloafing. Based on this importance, in this study conducted on employees, a public institution was selected to conduct the research with the aim of determining the relationship between boredom at work and cyberloafing behaviors. Online survey method was used to collect data from participants and as a result of the 242 data obtained, tTest, ANOVA, correlation, regression analyses were used in SPSS program to test the hypotheses. According to the obtained results, a positive and significant relationship was determined between boredom levels of employees at work and cyberloafing behaviors. In addition, it was determined that boredom at work significantly affected the subdimensions of cyberloafing (use as a communication channel, use for personal purposes, use not related to work, unethical use and daily-routine use).
