Summary/Abstract: Purpose – Digital maturity is an important success factor in rapidly developing digital business environments. Innovative business models and digital maturity levels of institutions in new digital organizational structures and models are of great importance in terms of competitive advantage. The Corporate Digital Maturity Scale was developed to measure participants' perceptions of the digital maturity levels of institutions. Design/methodology/approach – It is thought that the study examines the basic components of digital maturity and will help understand the importance of developing a digital mindset, encouraging innovation and embracing technological change. During the scale development process of the Corporate Digital Maturity Scale, an item pool consisting of potential items was first created, based on data obtained from literature review and interviews. Then, a pilot study was conducted to simplify the expressions, testretest analysis, and confirmatory and exploratory structure analyses. Then, structure, harmonization, discriminant validity and reliability tests were carried out in item simplification. The understandability of the scale was analyzed with test-retest analysis. Results – Study results show that the Enterprise Digital Maturity Scale has a high internal consistency, meaning that the items in the scale are highly correlated with each other, meaning that all questions measure the same underlying construct. It shows that the scale also has test-retest reliability, which refers to its stability over time, and an exploratory and appropriate construct validity to determine the underlying structure of the data. Discussion – Analysis findings show that the Corporate Digital Maturity Scale is a reliable and valid scale for measuring the corporate digital competence perceptions of corporate managers and employees.
