Summary/Abstract: Significant segment of the activities of the Serbian army in Metohija and the Raska region has an inter-allied and territorial character. Although the military alliance between Montenegro and Serbia was indisputable, and the agreement on priority national goals was undivided, the war alliance between the then two Serbian states was essentially contradictory. As the letter of the allied agreement does not regulate the issue of demarcation on the ground, nor a certain demarcation line that would clearly mark the operational zones in which Serbian and Montenegrin units will operate, this meant that in the future conflict the rule according to which space belongs to the state whose army first entered it. In the fall of 1912, the unfinished allied agreement would be the cause of unpleasant scenes in Metohija and the Raska area, which quickly replaced the initial enthusiasm that set the tone for the meetings of units of the Serbian and Montenegrin armies. Disputes over liberated cities and areas, conflicts over whose units first arrived and liberated certain cities, disputes over the spoils of war, and even over access to the Muslim and Arunian populations, threatened to compromise relations between Serbia and Montenegro. In that way, the that mission of the Serbian military campaign in the Raska region and Metohija was in itself related to the future territorial formation of the state space of the Kingdom of Serbia.
