Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a typology and char-acteristics of frequently occurring types of dialoguesteps in ChatGPT-3.5 chatbot conversations. Atten-tion is paid to the design and structure, language andgenre characteristics of such dialogue steps. Particularfocus is placed on dialogical steps created by thechatbot without prompting with regard to style orspecifying a particular genre in which a response isdesired.
