Summary/Abstract: The article considers one of the categories of jewelry of a women’s costume — plated temple rings. They are typical for the territory of the upper and middle Oka River basin. The earliest specimens date from about the middle — 2nd half of the first century. Most of them were found on the Oka-Don watershed on the final sites of Upa 2 type that are characteristic of Novo-Klejmenovo type sites that replaced them in the 2nd — beginning of the 3rd century. Several finds are known at the neighboring sites of the Dyakovo culture. About the middle 3rd century, sites of the Novo-Kleimenovo type cease to exist, after which the finds of such products in the upper Oka basin are no longer known. At this time, they appear in the Middle Oka basin on the sites of the Ryazan-Oka Finns’ culture, where they existed until the beginning of the Migration Period. This is probably due to the displacement of a population group.
