Summary/Abstract: The present article explores some relevant aspects regarding the “climate negationism” in the version of Donald Trump, in connexion with his “populist” discourse. In the context of the second candidature of the former USA president, this issue continues to be important and sensitive for the public opinion in USA and in the world, for the international arena, and for the academic field. The contemporary world is deeply interconnected, the climatic issue is a debate and a competition field, and among the world’s powers USA is a major actor. The global challenge of the climate change, the risks that the global warming implies, and the prominent opposition voice of Donald Trump regarding the climate change mitigation policy could not remain secondary debate subjects.
