Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the acoustic suitability of the unoccupied concert hall Promenadikeskus in Pori (Finland) was examined. In the first part of the paper, the objective acoustic parameters of the concert hall are defined and analyzed, which characterize: sound propagation time (reverberation time, warmth, brilliance, and early reverberation time), sound energy (central time, music clarity index and speech clarity index) and space (early lateral energy, lateral energy fraction and interaural cross-correlation coefficient). Based on the acoustic analysis of impulse responses and the evaluation algorithm, their values were calculated. The results are presented tabularly and graphically. In the second part of the paper, based on the comparison of the obtained results with the values given by Standard ISO 3382, it was determined that the acoustically treated concert hall has excellent acoustic properties and is therefore suitable for its purpose.
