G. Călinescu in the world of characters – a real hero

Summary/Abstract: The present article tries to show the bridge between reality and fiction in G. Calinescu’s novels. Every character is inspired by a real person, but in fiction became a character with some distinctive features which made him imperfect. On the other hand, we can discover beyond the character the author himself, wearing some other clothes or a mask. This analysis tried to explain these concepts: person-personality-character and the relation between them in fiction.
