Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the sanitary system in the Comanesti town. It is a chronological evolution, beginning with the first sanitary service in 1873 and finishing with the actual hospital, named City Hospital „Ioan Lascăr”. Even Leon Dănăilă began his career as a doctor here, in the hospital from our town, then moved to Bucharest
