Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the presence of a special text of Tübingen/Hölderlin in 20th century Polish lyrics. Poems by authors such as Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz, Aleksander Wat, Mieczysław Jastrun, Tadeusz Różewicz (and, by means of comparison, Paul Celan) are subject to reading. The text of place/poem read and interpreted by Polish writers is a text of invariably great gravity. It constitutes an impulse to form reflection fundamental for modern mentality, for the consideration of contemporary situation of literature and today’s spirituals condition.
