The Library from Comănești city

Summary/Abstract: The present paper present the history of the building where nowadays it is placed The City Library. The Comăneşti City Library began its activity after 1971, the building dating from the old people’s words since the end of the 19th century. The library building was built by Ștefan Triandafil, who came to Comăneşti as a member of the Royal Army. Triandafil House has preserved its beauty even today. Currently, the City Library still functions in the building, which has a book volume of over 60,000 copies from the old city libraries.
