Summary/Abstract: In the lines below I will talk about a small part of my history,or we can also say it’s about my little town’s history. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Comăneşti as a town, I had the privilege of documenting more about our customs and traditions. I will inform you about lots of interesting facts, like about our weddings, christenings, things that our ancestors used to do or prepare when a child was born. I’ll also talk about our Christian holidays, superstitions and all kinds of occupations our people used to have. I haven’t forgotten about the famous festival „Datini şi obiceiuri strămoşeşti’’, which is possible to be included in the UNESCO Heritage list. More briefly, I am glad to share with everyone some things about Comăneşti, and I am proud of who I really am and the history that I will surely pass on.
