Summary/Abstract: The following text is going to present the origins of my family, starting from 1879 Italy and ending in the amazing town of Comăneşti, a town in which my family along the years has had an influence that stands to this day. I talk about two of the most important buildings that were built by my great grandfathers on my mother’s side. Their deaths and accomplishments didn’t end up in vain. I talk about my great great great grandfather Alessandro and his son Iosif who had a very difficult life, they moved, not only from Italy to Romania so often, but from town to town for several reasons like work, the wars and the judgement from the people around them. After Alessandro and Iosif I also talk about the story of Victor and his son Angelin, who also turns out to be my grand‑father. I then talk about how my father, a British citizen, ended up here, in the town of Comăneşti and I tell the story of Robert Cole, the man after whom the association from town is named after.
