My city is 70 years old. Socio-economic aspects of the development of Comănești city

Summary/Abstract: The present paper presents the way in which our town has developed. My native town is a multicultural one, here intersecting several coordinates such as population dynamics, migration, aspects with an economic substrate, respectively those regarding occupations in the area, cultural aspects. As for the occupations, they were strictly related to the natural resources of the area. In addition to coal, which is still an inexhaustible source in the locality, although it is no longer exploited today due to the high cost of production, the depression enjoys the existence of beech and conifer forests, which led to the development of forestry. This town has a lot of schools, so we concluded that education was very important for its citizens.
