Summary/Abstract: Interdisciplinary nature of economics manifests in various forms. This is related to the research area and the specificity of research methods and tools. Looking for explanations to human action, economists undertake numerous studies in cooperation with representatives of other sciences, mainly social sciences. Thanks to such cooperation, economists and psychologists have expanded the scope of knowledge about action and human choices. As a result, numerous theories classified as economic psychology, behavioural or experimental economics have been created. The aim of the article is to present a methodological analysis of the research results in the literature refering to subdisciplines of economics and psychology. However, the analysis shows that economic or psychological theories are discussed separately.
