POLITICAL LIFE OF RADOM. THE "PERIPHERAL CITY" AND POLITICS

Summary/Abstract: In this article we are focusing on an empirical investigation that scrutinizes the dyna-mics of political life within the urban landscape of Radom. Employing a methodologythat combines quantitative data analysis with expert interviews, this study offers anoverview of Radom – a city frequently categorized as „peripheral” within the existingsociological literature. Particular attention is paid to the development of the civil societyin the city and also the cohabitation in the city council.
