Looping Science / in Science – On Academic Freedom and Its Opponents

Summary/Abstract: In this article, I analyze the problem of academic freedom against a historical back- ground, The views of philosophers of freedom and free will of man are presented, as well as there are internal and external factors that block academic freedom. Internal ones include typically human weaknesses to seize power and resources for research. External factors include the state`s policy in the scientific sphere and the quality of research and teaching cooperation with foreign institutions.
