Summary/Abstract: This study aims to examine high school students' speech anxiety in relation to various demographic and socio-economic variables. Conducted using a relational survey model, the research focuses on determining the degree of relationship between the variables. The study was carried out with the participation of 366 students selected through random sampling from three different high schools dur Data collection involved the use of a Personal Information Form to gather demographic details and the Speech Anxiety Scale developed by Sevim Öztürk. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 20.0 program. The general level of speech anxiety was determined using the arithmetic mean (Ẍ=2.33), and it was found to be at a "low level." Relationships between two variables were analyzed using the t-test, while differences among more than two variables were assessed through one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Indicate that there is no significant difference between speech anxiety and students' gender, father's educational status, family income level, and the number of people they live with. However, significant differences were found between the students' speech anxiety and their grade level as well as their mothers' educational level. These findings suggest that certain demographic factors may influence high school students' speech anxiety
