Summary/Abstract: The article critically discusses Xięga poezji idyllicznej [The Book of Idyllic Poetry], edited by Barbara Stelingowska and published in 2023. The authors focus on the edito- rial and substantive issues of the analysed edition – in particular, on problems related to the identity of the volume’s author, Maria Komornicka/Piotr Odmieniec Włast, shown in the necessary context of contemporary gender and queer studies.
