Summary/Abstract: According to Calvinism, money is an instrument of God. Economic goods, material riches are, according to the doctrine of the reformers, values directly related to the Christian faith and are closely associated with the spiritual life. Wealth is made available to people so that they can organize their personal lives and the functioning of society built on the basis of solidarism.
