Summary/Abstract: The preservation of culture and traditions is of particular importance for the formation of Bulgarian identity and elevates national consciousness. The aim of this study is to present the educators who collected and preserved Bulgarian folk games in order to later apply them in the educational system. Methodologically, all the information found in scientific and popular sources is systematized and examined on the basis of the so-called content analysis, comparative and critical analysis.
