Summary/Abstract: Today, the media not only informs individuals about current developments, but can also shape how the public will be informed about issues and their direction in terms of agenda-setting and agenda-framing. Considering the comprehensive impact of media on public opinion and the rapidly increasing use of social media, especially in recent years, the importance of news reports and social media posts regarding migrant and refugee groups has become even more apparent. This research examines the tweets of the Zafer Party, founded in 2021 and known for its antiimmigrant discourse, as well as party leader Ümit Özdağ, on their official Twitter accounts. The study analyzes the themes related to Syrian refugees that are most prominently featured in tweets and how the representations of Syrian refugees are structured using the critical discourse analysis method.
