Summary/Abstract: Education, as a multifaceted process, encompasses both theoretical knowledge and the practical application of this knowledge. Effective teaching in secondary vocational education requires a balance between the two aspects to ensure a comprehensive and effective preparation of students. The article comments on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT-analysis) of theoretical practice classes and in relation to practical teaching, also indicateshow these approaches can be optimized for better educational practices and results. The analysis was carried out in two aspects: both for students and for vocational teachers, and was supported by an exploratory survey.
