Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to outline some of the theoretical ideas about the stage space of some of the leading teachers in the theatre workshop at the Bauhaus school. Their experiments opened up new territories for entering an independent, modern theatrical language and, although inconsistent, exerted their influence on contemporary theatre and dance.
