Criminal regulations in act on assistance to citizens of Ukraine - analysis

Summary/Abstract: February 24, 2022 The Russian Federation attacked Ukraine. Russian troops entered the territory of Ukraine, as a result of which the inhabitants of Ukraine began to come to Poland en masse in search of shelter. The Polish legislator reacted to this phenomenon by passing the act on assistance to citizens of Ukraine. The aim of the work is to analyze the penal provisions contained in this act. The coherence of regulations, the temporal scope, the issue of tightening of penalty and the issue of the correct location of these provisions in the criminal law system were discussed.
