Summary/Abstract: The concept of a personal city directs our attention to places that are important to us, but also to thebonds and relationships created within them. It is important for many reasons. First of all, it is extremelyuseful in researching big cities, which our interlocutors usually do not know in their entirety. Therefore, quiteoften, as researchers, we receive opinions and attitudes that take into account our feelings towards specificfragments of urban reality. The text is an attempt to synthetically present selected excerpts from a researchconducted among Praga Północ District artists regarding how they perceive the district space and how theyunderstand the categories of „own” and „stranger”.
