Summary/Abstract: Tourism is currently one of the most promising economic branches in the world which continuies to develop and progress continuously. The essence of tourism are destinations and attractions, events and manifestations. Digital promotion is one of the key communication channels and tools for the promotion of tourist destinations and their content, as well as for attracting tourists who are the target group of tourism activities. The research is based on the hypotheses that digital marketing and digital promotion are an indispensable factor in the affirmation of cultural events and manifestations, and that websites and social networks are extremely important communication channels for the promotion of cultural events and manifestations. In the research we will use valid and efficient theoretical and empirical research methods and we will try to prove the hypotheses and research goals.
